Tanya is an Associate at WGC and is a member of the litigation team with extensive experience in the area of personal injuries law.  She has a reputation for providing forthright representation, yet is compassionate and ensures that each of her clients interests are protected at all times.

Experience

Tanya has the direct control and management of the WGC personal injuries team.  She has successfully managed many complex personal injury claims under the new legislative personal injury schemes and has achieved significant compensation for her clients. Tanya predominately acts for plaintiffs in personal injury matters and has instituted several claims against state government departments and local authorities.

Tanya regularly engages in continuing legal development including Personal Injury Law Masterclass Conferences, North Queensland Law Association Annual Law Conferences and Queensland Law Society Professional Development Conferences.

Whilst completing her Bachelor of Laws degree, Tanya received several academic prizes in bankruptcy and insolvency law, family law and conveyancing and drafting. Tanya is the past co-president of the North Queensland Law Association and is an active member of the Far North Queensland Law Association and the Cairns Business Women's Club.
