Experience

Michael’s business client base includes the Hedley Group, one of the largest hotel groups in Australia. He also acted for the Daikyo Group during its tenure in the region and has acted for major property developers from Port Douglas to Mackay. He has a particular expertise in tourism accommodation and hotel development and the operation of the Body Corporate and Community Management Act.

Michael has also acted in a number of landmark valuation cases including Trinity Wharf, the Hilton, Cairns International and Matson Resort.

Michael was a Founding Director of the Edward Koch Foundation and
has been a regional representative on the Queensland Law Society Property and Practice Committee.
